If you made your pudding at home, make sure to completely cool it before getting started.
Portion your pudding out into the amounts you will need when it is defrosted.
Spoon the pudding into an airtight container, freezer bag or pudding mold/ice cube tray.
Make sure to leave a little room in whatever container you choose as it will expand slightly upon freezing.
Seal the package up -Freezer bag: press all air out and zip it shut. Then press the pudding flat so it will store easily.Airtight container: for extra protection, you can place layer of plastic wrap over the container then pop the lid on it.Pudding mold/ice cube tray - if it has a lid, pop it on. Or, if you want to add popsicle sticks -do so now.
Write the date on your package and toss it in the freezer.
Notes
Fresher the better: freeze it when it is as fresh as possible to avoid any degradation in quality. No air: the less air, the better as it will decrease freezer burn. Fill the container almost to the top if possible. For freezer bags, make sure you press any air out of it.
