Slice up your salami.
Determine desired portion size and divide the salami up.
optional: place wax or parchment paper between each slice of salami. This makes it easier to separate them upon thawing.
Tear off a sheet of plastic wrap or aluminum foil and wrap it around each portion of salami.
Repeat wrapping for all portions.
Toss your wrapped portions into a freezer bag or freezer safe container.
Press the lid onto your container. Or, press the air out of the bag and zip it shut.
Use a marker and write the date on your package, then stick it into the freezer.
