Step one: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray 6-7 4oz ramekins with non-stick spray. Set aside.
Step two: If using fresh broccoli, rinse well and drain. Trim the stems and chop florets into one-inch pieces.

Step three: Place fresh or frozen broccoli in a large bowl and microwave for 3 minutes.

Step four: Add the heavy cream and half of the shredded cheese to the bowl. Toss until the broccoli is coated.

Step five: Spoon the mixture into the prepared ramekins, filling just below the rim.

Step six: Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
