Meatball Sliders

These meatball sliders are a guaranteed party favorite, packed with juicy meatballs, tangy marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese. Baked on soft Hawaiian rolls and brushed with garlic butter, each mini sandwich delivers big flavor in a fun, handheld form.

You can prep these sliders in just 15 minutes, and they bake quickly in the oven. Using pre-cooked frozen meatballs and store-bought rolls keeps the process simple, while a buttery topping with Parmesan and herbs adds extra flavor and a golden, cheesy finish.

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • Frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • Marinara sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Dried parsley flakes

Instructions

Make a batch of these simple sliders by following these easy steps.

Prep step: Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Cutting centers out of rolls.

Step one: Place the rolls in a baking dish or on a tray. Cut a circular hole in the top of each roll and press the center down inside.

Step two: Melt the butter and brush it generously over the tops and insides of the rolls.

Step three: Sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered rolls. Add a pinch of mozzarella into each hole, then press in a meatball.

Step four: Spoon marinara over each meatball, then top everything with the remaining mozzarella.

Step five: Sprinkle Parmesan and parsley over the rolls.

Step six: Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

Hint: These taste best served warm from the oven.

Storage

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 6 months.
